The Department of the Air Force Family Life Action Group (FLAG) is an all-volunteer group of total force airmen, guardians, and their families that aims to bridge the gap between service members, their families, and DAF senior leaders. FLAG improves quality of life by listening to concerns from the field, leveraging partnerships when appropriate to action change, and increasing communication between DAF senior leaders and those most impacted by DAF policies. In doing so, FLAG hopes to aid in ensuring mission readiness, resilience and the retention of a diverse force.
Mission: advocating and promoting change for DAF quality of life, fostering transparency and providing a voice for service members and their families to senior leaders and policy-makers.
Vision: a DAF culture where every member and their family are comprehensively supported by organizations, policies, and their local communities.
